The Northern Iowa baseball team returns to Missouri Valley Conference action tonight at home with the first of a four-game set against Wichita State. It continues a tough early schedule for the Panthers and coach Rick Heller says they need to keep from falling too far behind in the league race as it never gets easier to catch up. Heller says Wichita State has a number of new faces in the lineup, which even with their ability to reload, should hurt them some.Heller will send Chris Rosselot to the mound for tonight’s opener. Rosselot pitched six innings of no-hit ball. The series will conclude with a single game on Sunday.
