A motorcycle driver and a passenger were killed over the weekend after a collision with a pickup truck in southeast Iowa. The motorcycle driver, 31-year-old Darin Blanchard of Hedrick, and passenger 41-year-old Lila Comesano of Ottumwa, were killed. The accident happened Saturday afternoon near Hayesville in Keokuk County. The pickup truck driver, 66-year-old David McLaughlin of Sigourney, was not reportedly hurt. The Iowa Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
