Iowa State coach Dan McCarney feels some position changes on defense will be a plus as the Cyclones get ready for the upcoming season. One change involves Nik Moser who moves from safety to strong side linebacker. McCarney says he didn’t think Moser could start at safety, but thought he had a chance at linebacker, and said the transition has gone well. After spending his first two years at safety Anthony Forrest has moved to corner. He says he feels good about the switch and playing with the same guys has helped. Forrest says he’s still a defensive back and has enjoyed himself.Iowa State’s spring game is tomorrow.
