It wasn’t exactly a hot pursuit, but it was a hot time in the old town for a Delaware County Deputy this morning. The Manchester fire department was called out to a report of a car fire early this morning on Highway 20 near the city industrial park. The car was a Delaware County patrol car, and was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived. The Manchester fire chief says the fire started in the engine. The cause is under investigation, no one was hurt.
