An insurance agent in the southeast Iowa town of Fairfield is jailed on a number of sex charges. 40-year-old Lawrence Martin Smith Junior of Libertyville was charged Wednesday with 20 counts of incest, seven counts of third-degree sexual abuse and two counts of child endangerment on a relative. Smith is held on a 100-thousand dollar bond. A hearing is set for next week.
