The top ranked teams remain the same in the latest Radio Iowa/Baseball Coaches Association High School Poll. After a runner-up finish at last weeks metro tournament Cedar Rapids Kennedy remain top rated in class 4A. Dubuque Hempstead is second, Urbandale climbs three spots to third. WDM Valley and Dubuque Wahlert complete the top five. the top three are the same in 3A, Knoxville leads, Cedar Rapids Xavier is second and Davenport Assumption is third. Vinton- Shellsburg and Sioux City Heelan round out the top five. Dyersville Beckman is top ranked in class 2A, Maslon City Newman is second, Carlisle is third followed by Council Bluffs St. Albert and Cascade. and in 1A, Lansing Kee is top ranked. Martensdale-St. Mary’s is second, Granville Spalding is third, Kingsley-Pierson is fourth and Remsen St. Mary’s debuts at number five.
