Des Moines police are investigating a “suspicious” death. Twenty-eight-year-old Stacy Cox was found dead in her bed last night by her father. He thought she was asleep when he first got to the house, but then noticed items in the home were misplaced. Medics pronounced Cox dead at the scene. Cops had been called to the home early Sunday morning, but no arrests were made to break up the reported altercation at the residence. An autopsy will be performed today.
