There is a new top-ranked team in class 2A in the latest Radio Iowa/ Baseball Coaches Association High School Poll. After winning the class 1A state championship last summer Mason City Newman moves to the top of the 2A survey. The Knights replace previously top-ranked Dyersville Beckman which falls to second. Carlisle is third, Council Bluffs St. Albert is fourth and North Linn debuts at number five. The other top-ranked teams remain the same this week. Lansing Kee is top-ranked in 1A, Martensdfale-St. Marys is second. Sentral of Fenton climbs five spots to number three . Kingsley-Pierson and Iowa Valley complete the top five. Urbandale is top ranked in 4A. Dubuque Hempstead is second then its WDM Valley, Dubuque Wahlert and Burlington. Knoxville remains top rated in 3A, Cedar Rapids Xavier is second and completing the top five its Davenport Assumption, Vinton-Shellsburg and Decorah.
