Winthrop teen dies after accident

A second person has died after a head-on crash Sunday in Buchanan County. The state patrol says a pickup truck driven by 19-year-old Lucas Sizemore of Winthrop crossed the center line near Winthrop and collided with an on-coming vehicle driven by 45-year-old Michael Dunn of Center Point. Dunn was taken to an Independence hospital where he was declared dead. Sizemore was taken to a Waterloo hospital where he died Monday.
