The Drake Bulldogs take a 3-3 record into their Pioneer League North Division opener at San Diego. This will be the first of four straight divisional games that will determine the Bulldog’s post-season fate. Drake coach Rob Ash says he feels good about their nonconference preparation. He says at 4-1, San Diego will be a title contender. Ash says ideally they would like to play ball control and keep the San Diego offense off the field. Realistically, Ash says that won’t happen, as he thinks it will be a high scoring game. Last year’s final score was 53-46.
