The Northern Iowa football team continues to climb the national rankings. After a 38-30 win over Gateway Conference preseason favorite Western Illinois the Panthers have climbed three spots to sixth in the sports networks one-double-a top 25. McNeese State remains top ranked this week. Delaware is second, Gateway co-leader Southern Illinois is third, U-MASS and Wofford complete the top five. The Panthers are at number-six then it’s Villanova, Western Kentucky, Bethune-Cookman and Montana to complete the top ten. U-N-I is 4-0 in the Gateway, 7-1 overall and returns home this weekend to take on Youngstown State
