The Iowa men’s basketball team opens exhibition play tonight against E-A Sports. Hawkeye coach Steve Alford likes the way his team has prepared for the season. He says it’s been a good start all the way back to August and their tour of Australia. Alford says the next step begins tonight. He says now he’s anxious to see how the minutes play out and who will step up.
