The Iowa Hawkeyes have climbed three spots to 17th in the latest ESPN/USA Today coaches poll. The Hawks take an 8-3 record into their regular season finale at Wisconsin after a 40-22 win over Minnesota on Saturday. It was the last home game for the Hawkeye seniors who finish the season unbeaten in Kinnick Stadium. Coach Kirk Ferentz says it was vintage win for the team with all the seniors chipping in and contributing to the win.Iowa safety safety Bob Sanders caused a couple of fumbles against the Gophers and this week the defense goes against against Wisconsin receiver Lee Evans who tied a Big Ten record with five touchdown catches in a rout of Michigan State. Sander says Evans hasn’t lost a step and Sanders says they’ll have to come in focused and prepared to play hard.
