It’s another record quarter for Winnebago Industries as the Forest City-based manufacturer released its first-quarter earnings today. Revenues for the quarter were a record 254-point-nine million dollars, an increase of more than nine-percent compared to the first quarter of last year. Winnebago President Bruce Hertzke says with the economy seeming to be on the upswing, Winnebago should continue to prosper. He says the anticipate continued growth and still have workers on overtime, which he says is usually rare at this time of year.Hertzke says the baby boom generation has helped Winnebago post record earnings in a number of quarters over the past few years. Hertzke says recently the recreational vehicle market has gotten a boost as the popularity has expanded into a younger market.Net income for the first quarter was 18-point-one million dollars, an 11-percent increase compared to net income of 16-point-three million for the first quarter last year.
