Iowa State has now lost 20 straight Big-12 road games. Oklahoma made 12 of 25 from three point range as the Cyclones fell 75-48 in Norman. Cyclone coach Wayne Morgan on the post-game show on the Cyclone Network says O-S-U played a great game and did everything right. Jackson Vroman had 15 rebounds for Iowa State but only managed four points against a tough Sooner defense. He says they played with a lot of energy and played tougher. Vroman says the Sooners gained early confidence on the offensive end.Michigan State had too much strength, too much speed and too much depth last night for the Iowa Hawkeyes as the Spartans cruised to an 89-72 Big Ten victory in East Lansing.Iowa coach Steve Alford says the Hawkeyes gave a great effort were simply overmatched by a team that was hot and shooting the ball well. He says he can’t fault the team’s effort.Iowa is 4-4 in the Big Ten and visits Indiana this weekend.UNI fell for the third straight time. Creighton used a 13-2 run in the second half to take control in a 58-47 win over the Panthers in Omaha. UNI drops to 6-5 in the Missouri Valley Conference.
