A graduate of Upper Iowa University has topped her 100-thousand dollar gift to the school with a record donation. Betty Andres has announced she’s giving the school in Fayette two million dollars for school improvements. Andres is a 1946 graduate of the school and a current member of the board of trustees. Her late husband Bill was also an Upper Iowa graduate and was a retired C-E-O of Dayton-Hudson. Dayton-Hudson is now Target Corporation. The money will help finance the construction of a new building for business and education on campus. Groundbreaking for the project is set for April.
