A western Iowa man is now charged with first-degree murder in the beating death of his little girl. Omaha police on Thursday afternoon arrested 31-year-old Michael Vasquez of Harrison County on charges in connection with in the death of two-month-old Kylie Kros. Authorities say she was beaten in Vasquez’ family’s home in Woodbine on February 17th. The child’s mother, Denise Kros of Omaha, took the child to an Omaha hospital, where she died last Saturday, February 21st. Vasquez is held on $1 million dollars bond at the Douglas County, Nebraska jail.
