Tri City’s Bill Thomas broke a 3-3 tie with a goal with just a minute-14 remaining as the Storm defeated Waterloo 4-3 in game-three of the Clark Cup Finals last night at Young Arena. Waterloo still leads the series two-games to one. Black Hawks coach P.K O’Handley says the team will have the same approach for game-four. He says they weren’t even supposed to be in the playoffs, so they’ll go back out and play hard and see what happens. Despite the loss O’Handley was satisfied with his team’s effort. He says a break one way or the other and they could’ve won the game.Joe Pavelski, who scored the Hawks first goal of the game, still feels Waterloo has the momentum in the series as he says everyone still believes they can win.Garrett Regan scored his 6th goal of the playoffs for the Hawks. Regan is confident that Waterloo will bounce back. Game four is tonight.
