A 25-year-old Sidney woman was hurt and two men were arrested in an apparent kidnapping in the southwest Iowa town over the weekend. The Fremont County Sheriff says Tonya Schenk was treated at the Hamburg hospital and released. 33-year-old Daniel Lewis of Shenandoah is charged with kidnapping, stalking, willful injury and violating a no-contact order. Lewis is being held without bond pending a hearing. 39-year-old Zaccheus Hale of Essex was arrested at the same Sidney home. He’s wanted on meth charges and for other allegations in Page County and was transferred to that county’s sheriff’s department.
