Several Iowa executives have created a company that works to help family-owned businesses of all sizes grow and prosper. Donald Doudna, co-founder of the C-E-O Resource Center, based in the Des Moines suburb of Clive, says they target family-owned businesses because often those businesses need people on their board of directors or advisors but don’t know how to find them. Doudna says he and the other founders are experienced business advisors. The C-E-O Resource Center provides businesses access to experienced professionals who can serve on their boards, as strategic planning partners or outside advisors. Doudna’s company offers what he calls “cultural architects” to businesses large and small. Doudna says the Resource Center has satellite offices in St. Louis, Missouri; Tampa, Florida and in the San Francisco, California, area. For more information, surf to “www.ceo-resourcecenter.com”.
