Some songs are incredibly beautiful, lyrically and musically. We just try to have a lot of fun,” though Doyle says many songs are about death and war as that’s part of Ireland.Doyle says some of his songs are contemporary, while others date back 500 years, all woven together to bring listeners a bit of the passion, struggle, humor and defiance of the Irish people.
