Investigators from the Iowa D-N-R are looking into a fish kill in western Iowa’s Carroll County. Earlier this week, a report came in of a fish kill along Elk Run Creek near Lidderdale. It was discovered when environmental officials went to check on a report of a dead cow, but no cow was found. Officials say the fish kill may have been caused by the runoff of animal waste from a nearby livestock feed lot.
