The Iowa women lost a 14-point lead, but held on to down Florida 65-62 in a tournament in the Bahamas.Hawkeye coach Lisa Bluder. Bluder called it a tremendous win for the program after they held off a late run and had good play out of freshmen. Bluder says her team didn’t give anything to a tough Florida squad. She says it helped them playing Missouri before this game, because they got a chance to play a more athletic team. Bluder says she was impressed with her team’s work on the glass.Jamie Cavey led Iowa with 19 points. Iowa moves to 3-0 on the season and moves into the championship game of the tournament.
