A federal judge has thrown the book at a Shenandoah man with a long record. 39-year-old Zaccheus Scott Hale wasn’t home the day last June when federal agents executed a search warrant at his house. They found and seized material they say was used in making methamphetamine, got an arrest warrant, and a month later caught up with Hale. He was arrested for driving with a revoked license and officers who searched his vehicle found meth. Prosecutors say he has two prior felony drug convictions, and yesterday U.S. District Judge James Gritzner sentenced Hale to 25 years in prison and ten years supervised release following that. He’ll also pay 100-dollars into the state’s crime-victim fund.
