The search for a missing eastern Iowa hunter came to a tragic end this morning. The Linn County Sheriff’s Department says a 64-year-old Cedar Rapids man went missing between noon and one o’clock yesterday afternoon. Authorities began their search where the hunter’s pickup was found near Bertram. Linn County sheriff deputies and 60 firefighters searched a 200 acre area. Early this morning, authorities found the man’s body about a half mile from his pickup. Officials believe he died of natural causes. The name of the man should be released later today.
