Four people were arrested on drug charges this week after a joint investigation by the Monona County sheriff’s office and Onawa police. Law enforcement authorities executed the first warrant at a home in Onawa where 33-year-old Heidi Duffy and 31-year-old Jody Lawrence, both of Onawa, were arrested for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Lawrence was also charged with two counts of child endangerment. A second search warrant was issued at a rural Onawa residence where the discovery of a workingmeth lab led to the arrest of 32-year-old Brian Cox and 26-year-old John Gibson Junior, both of Onawa. Both men are charged with possession of paraphernalia and methamphetamine precursors. All are jailed in Monona County.
