One man’s dead following a crash early today in Carroll County. The state patrol says around 1:30 Tuesday morning a car-van accident on Highway 30 near Glidden killed 22-year-old Ever Tobar-Rivera of Perry. Tobar-Rivera was driving east and collided head-on with a van driven by 27-year-old Paul Pedersen of Dunlap. Pedersen was taken to a Carroll hospital with injuries. The state patrol says it is unclear whether Tobar-Rivera was wearing a seat belt. They also don’t know yet what caused the accident.
