Harlan man pleads guilty to child porn charges

A Harlan man pleaded guilty Wednesday to child pornography charges. A statement from the Justice Department says 46-year-old Terry Garnette pleaded guilty to the production and distribution of child pornography. Garnette is accused of sexually abusing his girlfriend’s four-year-old daughter. The statement also alleges Garnette took several pictures of the girl and had hundreds of files featuring child pornography on his computer which he distributed to others via the Internet. Garnette is scheduled to be sentenced August 19th.
