A Dubuque man has been sentenced to 37 years in prison for a robbery he committed with his brother. 39-year-old Kasper Dobbs and his brother 36-year-old Robert Wilson Junior were convicted in January of interfering with commerce by robbery, using a firearm during a crime of violence and being felons in possession of a weapon. The two men were accused of holding up a convenience store in Dubuque in May of 2003. The robbery was caught on the store’s video system and both were later identified by family and friends. Dobbs was sentenced to 444 months in prison and ordered to pay restitution. Wilson has not yet been sentenced.
