National Weather Service radar spotted two apparent twisters last night (Wednesday) in north-central Iowa’s Webster and Hamilton counties. The first of the possible funnel clouds was reported near Gowrie around 7:15, prompting the issuing of a tornado warning for southern Webster County. The same storm moved through towns including Callender and Lehigh. Parts of Hamilton County got the tornado warning just before eight PM, as sirens sounded in Webster City and Duncombe. A twister reportedly touched down near Blairsburg but no damage was reported.
