Iowa high school baseball coaches are now first and second nationally on the all-time wins list. Decorah coach Dennis Olejniczak collected his one-thousand-116th career win against Waverly-Shell Rock last night to move into sole possession of second place on the all time win list. Bobby Moegle of Monterey High School, Lubbock, Texas was tied with Olejniczak in second place. Olejniczak’s coached for 43 years — 42 in Decorah. Gene Schultz of Lansing Kee is the all-time national leader in victories.
