The University of Iowa has suspended season ticket sales for the upcoming football season. Iowa ticket manager David Sandstrum says ticket sales reached 40-thousand. He says the only exception is students can still place their order before the allotment runs out. He says they have over 10-thousand tickets held for students and are on pace to sell them out. Beginning Thursday a two game package will be offered involving games against Ball State and UNI. Single game tickets for those games go on sale on July 14th. He says if the other Big Ten schools return some tickets, they may have some to sell. The season opener is September third against Ball State.
