Prison and home arrest will be the penalty for a western Iowa man accused of cheating on his taxes. A Crawford County man has been ordered to serve time in prison for stealing money from the federal government. Federal authorities say 40-year-old Terry Segebart of Manilla cheated on his income taxes from 2000-2002. Court documents say Segebart deposited income checks into his children’s bank accounts, to try to conceal the income from the IRS. Segebart will serve five months in prison and another five months confined to his home.
