A northeast Iowa man was able to walk away from a weekend plane crash in southwest Wisconsin. The accident happened about two miles south of Lancaster, Wisconsin, just north of the Lancaster Airport, on Saturday afternoon. The 1958 Cesna is owned by Tri-State Skydivers of Lancaster and was piloted by 22-year-old Evan Freeman of Dubuque. He was coming in for a landing when the plane developed mechanical trouble. Freeman glided into a corn field where the plane got tangled and flipped over. He was treated for minor injuries. The incident is still under investigation.
