A fisherman died Sunday after an accident on the Missouri River during a western Iowa bass fishing tournament. 51-year-old Robert J. Evers of Omaha, Nebraska was killed when the boat he was riding in and driven by 51-year-old Paul Hanson of Ames, Nebraska slammed into a wing dike. Authorities say fog was a major factor in the accident. Hanson was taken to a Sioux City hospital, Evers was pronounce dead at the scene.
