The Drake Bulldogs may have their two Gateway Conference opponents behind them but coach Rob Ash says things won get any easier. Drake is on the road to play a Wisconsin-Platteville team that has had their number. Ash says they’ve lost to Wisconsin-Platteville two years in a row, so they can’t go in thinking it’s going to be a walk. He says Platteville outplayed and surprised them two years ago, and last year he says their defense came up with two big touchdowns to give them the win.Ash says Platteville has been opportunistic in their games against the Bulldogs.Drake is 0-2 after losses to UNI and Illinois State and Ash says a goal this week is to play better in the second half. He says they started both games pretty well and had leads in them. He says the doubt is how they’re going to be in finishing games.
