A high school football milestone could be reached by North Mahaska running back Levi Ferguson when the class-A third rated Warhawks visit Conrad BCLUW. With 166 yards Ferguson would become the 12th player in Iowa high school history to rush for more than five-thousand yards. He is averaging 258 yards per game and already has 18 touchdowns.North Mahaska coach Steve Ehret says they don’t look at records, they just try to take what the defense gives them. He says Ferguson is so good because he has natural ability and is a great competitor who plays for the team. BCLUW coach Les Penick talks about their game plan agasinst Ferguson. He says the best plan is to make sure the offense has the ball and keeps the ball away from North Mahaska.Penick says the defense will need a big effort. He says they have to be assignment sound and wrap up when they hit him.
