Sioux City police continue to crack down on residents trying to defraud the Red Cross by claiming to be victims of Hurricane Katrina. Eight people have been arrested in the past two days, including a juvenile. Two others were arrested last Monday. Police say the suspects tried to collect assistance like cash and hotel rooms that are being made available to evacuees. Police are finding more of the imposters, even though they know they’re being sought. More arrests are expected.
