Iowa State coach Dan McCarney says the Cyclones need to bounce back after a tough loss at Nebraska. ISU takes on a Baylor team this weekend that is 3-1 and lost in overtime at Texas [email protected] says he’s very impressed watching Baylor as he says they have a good system and good players and are playing good defense. The Cyclones cannot afford to dwell on the loss to the Huskers. McCarney says you can take another step toward trying to win the conference, or “just get swallowed up.” He says all the teams in the conference are still very much alive. McCarney is confident the Cyclones will be ready, as he says he has a lot of faith in the team. He says everything they wanted before the season is still available. McCarney says this is not the Baylor of old and under coach Guy Morris the Bears have turned things around. He says they went toe-to-toe with Texas A&M and played Army better than his team. McCarney says people may think Baylor is a weak team, but when you watch them on tape you see the game is “going to be tough as hell.”
