Authorities say an autopsy has ruled out foul play in the death of a 45-year-old Des Moines man whose body was found Sunday under a new bridge on the edge of downtown Des Moines. Sergeant Todd Dykstra, a spokesman for Des Moines police, says it does not appear that the man jumped. Dykstra says at about five o’clock, police got the call that someone had found a white man under the George Washington Carver bridge. The man’s now been identified as Leonard Wiorek. The body was found on the bank of the Raccoon River, under the bridge, by a couple of fishermen. Dykstra says they’re waiting on toxicology tests to determine the cause of death.
