Only the CIML Metro conference is at stake. Des Moines Lincoln can claim that crown with a win. The Railsplitters are assured at least of an at-large berth. A Des Moines Lincoln loss could complicate things to the extent that Des Moines East could win the conference crown outright with a 4-5 record. Ames is one of the at-large teams. Sioux City East and Fort Dodge can nab two of the there three available spots with wins. Sioux City East can get in with a loss should Council Bluffs Lincoln or Des Moines Rossevelt win in week nine.

Waukon can get a runner-up spot with a win, coupled with wins by New Hampton and Charles City. Another possibility involves a Waukon win, with wins by Independence and Charles City giving Waukon the runner-up spot.
Should Waukon, New Hampton, and Crestwood win, New Hampton would claim the district championship. The 13-point tie-breaker would have to settle the runner-up spot between Decorah and Waukon.
Head to head tie-breakers: Decorah beat New Hampton and Crestwood.; New Hampton Charles City, Waukon, and Crestwood; Waukon beat Charles City; Crestwood beat Waukon ; Charles City beat Decorah.

Marion is in with a win. Mount Vernon must win and have West Delaware win to get in. Because they don’t have enough points, Vinton-Shellsburg can’t get in.

Grinnell and Williamsburg are in the playoffs. Their week 9 game at Grinnell will decide champ and runner-up.

Wilton is in the playoffs. They can claim the district crown with a win. That would give Mid-Prairie the runner-up spot, win or lose, because Mid-Prairie beat West Liberty. West Liberty needs a win and a Louisa-Muscatine win to get the district crown. It is the only way they can get in.
Should West Liberty and Mid-Prairie both win, Mid-Prairie and Wilton would get the playoff spots. Points would determine champ and runner-up.

CMB @ Roland-Story (4-2)
PCM and North Polk have the most control with wins by both giving them the championship and runner-up spot respectively. Grundy Center can get the runner-up spot with a win.
Norht Polk can win the district with a win and a Bondurant-Farrar win. The runner-up spot would be determined by points.
In case of a four-way tie, PCM will win the district and Grundy Cemter will be the runner-up.
Head-to-head tie-breaker: Grundy Center beat Roland-Story; PCM beat North Polk and Grundy Center; North Polk beat Roland-Story; and Roland-Story beat PCM.

Aalbert The other possible scenario involves Underwood, ST. Aalbert and Griswold. ST. Albert would get the runner-up spot because of wins over Underwood and Griswold. Griswold can’t get in the playoffs.
Head-to-head tie-breakers: Logan-Magnolia beat ST. Albert; Underwood beat Griswold; ST. Albert beat Underwood and Griswold; Groswold beat Logan-Magnolia.
