Iowa State will be heading to a bowl game but which one is still uncertain. The final two games will have a big impact as the 6-3 Cyclones close out the season with games against Colorado and Kansas.

Cyclone coach Dan McCarney says there will be a lot of bowl scouts in this week and next week and he says that’s fun. He says they will have plenty of time to work on possible destinations, but now they have to focus on Colorado, as a victory over a top 25 team does nothing but help their chances.

And a victory on Saturday would keep the Cyclones in the hunt for the Big-12 North Division title. The Buffaloes are 7-2 and can lock up the division with a win. McvCarney calls this the best Colorado team Gary Barnett has had since he has been in Boulder. A victory would be I-S-U’s first over Colorado in Ames since back in 1983.
