The U-N-I Panthers visit top ranked New Hampshire in the quarterfinal round of the 1-AA national playoffs. Panther coach Mark Farley says the defense will have a difficult challenge slowing down a New Hampshire no-huddle offense that posted 55 points in a victory of Colgate last week.

Farley says it’s not a hurry up offense. He says the coach wants to see the defense so he knows what to call. Farley says the no-huddled is designed to get the best matchup at the snap. He says it limits the chance to make substitutions on defense and you can’t huddle. He says it’s a good plan. Farley says New Hampshire has a number of weapons including a tight end, quarterback and receiver who are all-americans.

Farley says while their offense gets most of the attention they also have one of the top defensive units in the country. Farley says they lead the nation in about every category. He says that’s the difference from the team they faced last weekend, it’s a better defense. It is an early kickoff, ten a.m. Iowa time.
