Fort Dodge man wanted on charges including attempted murder

A 34-year-old Fort Dodge man is wanted on charges of arson, sexual abuse and attempted murder. Sessions Lamont Harper is suspected after a fire Sunday morning at a Fort Dodge home. Inside the house, fire crews found an unidentified 22-year-old woman. She was first taken to a Fort Dodge hospital, then airlifted to the burn center at University Hospitals in Iowa City. Her condition is not being released. Authorities say Harper has a long criminal record, including being a registered sex offender. He’s black, 5-foot-10, 230 pounds and a shaved head.
