Two western Iowa teens were killed and two others injured early this morning in a crash between and car and a semi. The Guthrie County Sheriff’s office says the accident occurred just after midnight, south of Coon Rapids.

Officials say the driver of a 1991 Cadillac Coupe De Ville, 16-year old Josh Tunning, of Dedham, and a passenger in the vehicle, 17-year old William Riesenberg, of Carroll, were killed. Two other passengers in the car, 16-year old Matthew Schmitz, of Dedham, and 17-year old Bradley Barringer, of Carroll, were injured, and taken to Saint Anthony’s Hospital in Carroll. The semi involved in the crash was pulling a trailer loaded with seed corn.

The driver of the truck, 29-year old Ryan Culbertson, of Perry, was not injured. Authorities are continuing with their investigation into the accident. No other details are available.
