U-N-I broke away from a two point halftime lead as the Panthers rolled to a 74-61 win at Evansville, their eighth victory in their last nine games. After getting a career high 24-points in a win over Drake , Brooks McKowen had another solid outing with 18-points to lead all scorers. McKowen on the postgame show on the U-N-I Sports Network says his game feels good right now, his shot feels good. McKowen says he knew he had to pick things up a little bit to help the team win.

The Panthers built leads of as large as 22 points in the second half as they improved to 4-1 on the road in conference play. McKowen says they’ve done a good job of getting wins on the road and he say they know that’s what they have to do to win the conference. He says they stepped it up in the second half to close out the win. The Panthers are 8-2 in the Valley and 18-3 overall.
