The Iowa Hawkeye women got a victory and some help to move into a fifth place tie with Indiana in the Big Ten race. The Hawkeyes cruised past Michigan 67-55 and stand 8-6 in the conference heading into the final week of the regular season. Iowa coach Lisa Bluder says she’s glad they avoided the upset and says the rebounding really helped.

Bluder says they really stressed boxing out on the boards.Iowa did not have a great shooting day and did much of their damage from the foul line. She says they always want to get to the line and make more free throws than their opponent shoots. The Hawks are now 15-10 overall and will visit Illinois on Thursday.
