A Cedar Falls man was hurt when his mobile home caught fire early yesterday (Tuesday). Crews were called to the Green Acres Two Mobile Home Park about 5:30 Tuesday and found the home fully engulfed. It took about an hour to extinguish.
Paul Pitts was inside, asleep, when the fire broke out. Neighborhood kids saw the flames and awakened him. Pitts was burned and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. No condition report was released. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
