The girls state high school golf tournament wrapped up on Wednesday. Carrol Keumper won the Class 3A title. West Des Moines Valley won the 4A title and coach Tracy Johnson says they got off to a great start.
It’s Valley’s first state title since 1983, none of the current teammembers were even born then. Abbi Sunner the 4A medalist and Maureen White of Carroll Keumper was the 3A medalist.
