Student season tickets for Iowa football games have sold out. U-of-I ticket manager David Sandstrum nearly 10-thousand-500 student tickets were available for the upcoming season. Sandstrum says they had enough tickets to make it through freshman orientation.

Sandstrum says many of the students who waited for classes to begin did not get tickets as the tickets went in a hurry. Sandstrum says fewer than 300 tickets remain for the September second season opener against Montana.

All the other home games are sold out though there is a chance some of Iowa’s opponents may not sell their allotments and turn some tickets back in. Sandstrum says he’s not sure how many tickets will be available. Sandstrum says he’s been too busy getting ready for the changes due to the stadium renovation to worry about anything else right now.
